What tracking a QR code can’t see

It’s worth being clear about the limits. Scan tracking is analytics, not surveillance. It does not reveal someone’s name, phone number, or exact home address. Location comes from the IP address, which is city-level and approximate — on mobile networks it often reflects the carrier’s gateway rather than the exact spot.
