What is an IP logger?
An IP logger is a link that records the IP address of everyone who opens it. From that IP, ScanTraceQR works out an approximate location (country, region and city), the visitor’s device and browser, and the time — then forwards them to wherever you want. You get a running log of every click in a clean dashboard, plotted on a map.
This is the same information every website you visit already receives. It’s the fast way to answer “was this link actually opened, and by roughly what audience?” — whether that’s a link in a message, a post, an email, or a printed QR code.

What is an IP logger?
An IP logger is a tool that records the IP address of anyone who opens a link you created. How accurate is IP-based location?
IP geolocation is city-level and instant, with no permission prompt. On mobile networks it often reflects the carrier’s gateway rather than the exact device. For pinpoint accuracy you can enable optional, consent-based GPS per link.
Is using an IP logger legal?
Logging the IP of visitors to links you own and share is standard web analytics and generally fine. You are responsible for using it lawfully and respecting the privacy rules that apply to you and your audience — don’t use it to harass or deceive people. Precise GPS is opt-in only.
